you’re sleeping right now and I miss you a lot so I thought I’d text you just so you wake up to something so nice. baby, I promise not to let a day go by of you thinking I don’t love you. I promise to watch all your favorite tv shows and I pretend to get emotionally invested just like you do. I promise to buy you every pair of those fuzzy socks and every candle you could ever want. I promise to be goofy with you and always make you laugh. I promise to take pictures of you, but that’s not going too well right now. I don’t know why, but I’m not a fan of pictures of myself. I promise to make that change. I promise to keep everything we talk about a secret. I promise to turn you on when you need to relax and make you feel so good. I promise to grab your hand and pull you into me when you have a bad dream or can’t sleep. you always say that people end up getting tired of you, so I promise to never get tired of you. I promise to help you clean things up when you hoard them for too long. I promise to get you fruit from the store even though I’m allergic to most of it. I promise to kiss you every morning I’m with you, despite the morning breath. I promise to kiss you every night before you fall into a deep slumber and snore a little too
loud. I promise to let you take up most of the bed and even most of the blankets. I promise to take care of you when you’re sick. I promise to sing to you even when I think I sound awful. I promise to try and cook just as good as those people on chopped. although ordering pizza sounds just as good. I promise that we will not end up like my parents or even yours. I promise to try my very hardest to help you forget what it’s like to hurt. I promise to lay in bed and watch Stuck In Love with you and stop kissing you during the good parts. I promise that’s I’ll find all the birthmarks you don’t let anyone else see. I promise to tell you the things I’m scared to admit. I promise that I will love you with every bone in my body, that all my muscles will ache and strain from the love a have for you. with heavy eyes, from the lack of sleep from thinking about you, I’ll look at you and fall in love.
